Australia's Aaron Finch was named captain, Maxwell and Watson were also included in the team
Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi and Rashid Khan in the team, no Pakistan player
Dainik BhaskarDec 30, 2019, 03:34 PM IST Sports Desk. Wisden Magazine, called the bible of cricket, has declared the T20 team of the decade. Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah of India have been given place in this. Surprisingly, Mahendra Singh Dhoni was not included in the team. The captaincy has been given to Australia's T20 captain Aaron Finch. Afghanistan's Rashid Khan and Mohammad Nabi are included in this team, but no Pakistan player is in this list.
Wisden's decade-old T20 squad lacks many notable faces. Like Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Ben Stokes or David Warner. On the other hand, two players from Afghanistan are included in the list. Both are mainly spinners. Mohammad Nabi is an off-spinner, while Rashid Khan is known for his leg break bowling. England's left arm paceman David Wiley's name is also shocking. He has speed and bounce but he was not very successful in the Death Overs.
No one like Kohli said on Kohli, "Virat may not have been very successful in domestic T20, but he continues to flourish in international cricket. He also averages 53 and is the highest in a decade. He is the ideal batsman at number three. Play the same against Paes and spin. ”Wisden also suggested Bumrah's inclusion. Said, "In Death Overs, bowlers like him don't do much bowling. Their economy rate is 6.71. His stats become more special because he bowls mostly in the last over. ”
Wisden's decade-old T20 team Aaron Finch (captain), Colin Munro, Virat Kohli, Shane Watson, Glenn Maxwell, Joss Butler, Mohammad Nabi, David Willey, Rashid Khan, Jasprit Bumrah and Lasith Malinga.
