At the same time, Amit Fungal (52 kg), Manish Kaushik (63 kg), Ashish Kumar (75 kg), Sachin Kumar (81 kg), Satish Kumar (+91 kg) are also named. Qualifiers for the Tokyo Olympics will be played in Wuhan, China from 3 to 14 February.

Vikas beat Duryodhan Singh Negi 9–0 in the final of the 69 kg weight category on Monday. Vikas, who won the medal in the Asian Games, had been fighting in the 75 kg category for a long time. But after recovering from a back injury, he has returned to the 69 kg category. Gaurav Solanki defeated Mohammad Hussamuddin 7-2 in the final trials while Tanwar beat Naveen Kumar 6-3.
