There were 1200 swimmers in Turkey. This race starts from the Asian edge of WaterWire and ends on the European coast.
This race of 6.5 km is called the best Open Water Swimming Race in the world. It is the world's only intercontinental swimming race. The 10-hour race started with Kanela Pier and ended in Kuruksemem after crossing the Bosphorus.
Swimmers from 14 to 89 take part
In the race, players from 14 to 89 years participated. For this, Istanbul also closed its shipping traffic for one day. The race was first held in 1989. Then 64 men and 4 women swimmers took part.
