Winning the tournament will get 750 ATP ranking points
Western Australia's tourism minister Paul Papalia said, "In the new tournament, the winner will be given 750 ATP ranking points and 107 crores rupees as a reward, which will also play great players in Perth's summer."
He said, "Tennis has a special place in the hearts of people of Western Australia, this tournament will work to maintain that tradition and give fans a world-class tennis experience in Perth, which will give Perth a new identity in the world."
The last time this tournament was in discussions due to Serena Williamson of America and Roger Federer of Switzerland. The team of both of them had been face-to-face in the group round. Then Federer's team defeated Serena's team 4-2, 4-3.
America has won the Hopman Cup title six times. He has lost in the final six times. At the same time, Switzerland and Spain have named themselves the tournament four times. Switzerland is the champion present. He defeated Germany this time in the final.
Host Australia has won only this title twice. He first became the champion in 1999 and the last time in 2016. He had to face defeat in the 1998 and 2012 finals.
