He secured the Tokyo Olympic ticket as soon as he secured his place in the final. She is the 12th shooter in the country to achieve Olympic quota. Tejaswini finished fifth in the qualification round with a score of 1171. Earlier on Friday, Chinki Yadav gave India 11 Olympic quota in the shooting.
Six of the eight shooters who reached the finals of the Asian Championships have already won Olympic tickets. This made the path of 39-year-old Tejaswini easy. She also participates in 50 meter rifle prone. Tejaswini has won medals in the World Championship, World Cup and Commonwealth Games. She became the champion in 2010 in Munich, Germany, equaling the world record score in the 50 meter rifle prone event. She was the first woman shooter in the country to win gold at the World Championship.
