Sachin told the entire incident in the video
Describing the incident in the video, Sachin said, "I stayed in a hotel in Chennai during a series a few years back. Then a waiter came to the room with coffee for me. He told me that if you give permission, I want to talk to you about cricket. I told him yes why not. Then he said that whenever I see you playing wearing an armguard (elbow guard), I think the way your bat swings changes. According to Sachin, I already knew what the waiter was saying and I had never mentioned it to anyone.
Sachin redesigned the guard after the waiter said
The waiter further said to Sachin, I am a big fan of yours. I watch your batting very carefully, I rewind every ball 5-7 times. So I thought that whenever you wear an elbow guard, your bat starts swinging a little differently. Hearing her, Sachin said to her that yes, you are the only person in the world who has noticed such a fine thing. According to Sachin, 'After that incident, when I returned from the field to the room, I brought my elbow guard with me. After that I redesigned it with the right size and the right amount of padding. '
