The truck hit the road while going for physical training, died on the spot.

Devghar National level kabaddi player Vikesh Kumar Rout died in a road accident in Deoghar district of Jharkhand. The incident took place on Deoghar-Dumka Highway near Blooming Buds School on Tuesday morning. The truck coming at a fast pace crushed them. Vikesh represented Jharkhand's team in the 59th Senior East Zone Kabaddi Tournament held in Jamshedpur.

Vikesh was going to Bokaro on Tuesday night for the recruitment of Jharkhand Armed Police (Zap) of Bokaro on 13th February. To prepare for this, he was going to the camps of Jamp-5, along with his colleagues at Mohanpur Chopa Moor, for physical training. Meanwhile, the truck hit him on the way. Vikesh died on the spot. Vikesh had studied from Armitra Plus to School and used to practice kabaddi in the same field continuously.
