Sports desk The elbow operation of Indian star Javelin Thrower (spear throw player) Neeraj Chopra has been done. Now playing in his world championship has become doubtful. This world championship is to be held in Doha from 27 September to 6 October. Neeraj was operated by Dr. Dinshaw Padiwala in a hospital in Mumbai.

Neeraj tweeted on social media and informed about the operation. Neeraj wrote, 'Doctor Dineshoe Pardivala performed an operation in Mumbai. There will be a few months to wait for the practice to start. There is some good hiding behind every accident. God wants to make you better. '

21-year-old Neeraj was suffering from elbow playing in NIS Patiala in April. Neeraj was unable to play the Asian Championship from April 21 to 24 in Doha due to elbow injury.
Doctor Day Shaw has already treated many Indian players. These include Sushil Kumar, Saina Nehwal, PV Sindhu, Yogeshwar Dutt, Vinesh Phogat, Anil Kumar, HS Pranoyi.
