Anjum Chopra to be given the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award

Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah will be honored with the Polly Umrigar Award for Best International Cricketer (2018-19) at the Salana Award of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). These awards will be given in Mumbai on Sunday. Best International Cricketer of the Year (2018-19) in women will be given to Poonam Raut. He was recently awarded the Arjuna Award.
Former cricketer K.K. Srikanth will be given the Colonel CK Naidu Lifetime Achievement Award. Among women, Anjum Chopra will be honored with the BCCI Lifetime Achievement Award.

Pujara, Mayank and Shefali Verma will also receive the award Cheteshwar Pujara will be given the Dilip Sardesai Award for scoring the most runs in Tests in 2018-19. He scored 677 runs in eight Tests at an average of 52.07. Mayank Agarwal and Shefali Verma (among women) will be honored for Best International Debut. Mayank scored 872 runs in nine Tests with the help of three centuries and three half-centuries. He averaged 67.07. At the same time, Shefali scored 222 runs in nine T20s.
