Last match played four months ago
Bumrah was out of the team for the past several months due to stress fracture. For this reason, he could not take part in the series against South Africa, Bangladesh and West Indies last year. He played his last match against West Indies in September 2019. In December 2019, team physio Nitin Menon declared him fully fit. He was then included in the Indian team for the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka.

Bumrah can overtake Chahal and Ashwin
Bumrah has taken 51 wickets in 42 matches so far in his T20 international career. He is the second highest wicket-taker for India in this format. Yuzvendra Chahal (52 wickets) and R.V. Ashwin (52 wickets). Bumrah can overtake these two with just two wickets.
