Royal Challengers Bangalore team against CSK not won in nine years

The 12th edition of the Indian Premier League Twenty20 tournament will start on Saturday at the MA Chidambaram Stadium by playing between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). For the first time in the IPL, both the teams are face-to-face in the inaugural match. This is the first time that the tournament is being held before the ODI World Cup. The final of the IPL-12 from March 23 will be on May 12, whereas against the World Cup in England from 30 to 14 July. This time the opening ceremony of the tournament will not be. Indian Cricket Control Board (BCCI) has done this to pay homage to the soldiers who were killed in the Pulwama attack.
