new Delhi. The Senior Women's Selection Committee announced the Indian team for the three-match ODI series against England on Saturday. Veteran batsman Mithali Raj was given the captaincy of the team. All three matches of the series will be played at Mumbai's Wankhede Stadium. These ODI matches are part of the ICC Women's Championship. Matches will be played on 22, 25 and 28 February.

Apart from this, the selectors also announced the Board President XI team. This team will play a practice match in Mumbai on February 18 before the series. The team's command was handed over to Opener Smriti Mandhana.

India, led by Mithali, won the ODI series 2-1 for the first time in New Zealand. After this Mithali was excluded from the first two Twenty20 matches against the hosts New Zealand, who lost to India.
