India Africa was beaten by 9 wickets in the first ODI and 8 wickets in the second match. In the third match played at Bufalo Park in East London, India lost the toss and batted first and scored 192 runs in 8 overs in 50 overs. In response to this Africa won the match by making 193 for 5 wickets in 48.2 overs.

For Team India, captain Priyam Garg scored 52 and Tilak Verma scored 25 runs. Yashasvi Jaiswal took 2 wickets. Right there. Jonathan Byrd scored an 88-run match-winning innings for Africa. For this he was voted Man of the Match. While Achille Cloete and Feku Moletsane took 2–2 wickets.
