Sports desk In the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup, the Indian hockey team defeated Canada 7-3 in their fourth match. Mandeep Singh scored a hat-trick goal for India. He scored in the 20, 27th and 29th minutes of the match. Apart from Team India, Varun Kumar, Amit Rohidas, Vivek Prasad and Nilakant Sharma scored one goal each. For Canada, Mark Pearson, Finn Boothroyd and James Wales scored the goal.
This is India's third win in the tournament. He defeated Japan in his first match. Whereas, the second match was left on the draw against South Korea. In the third match, Team India had defeated host Malaysia. India's last league match will take place from Poland on March 28.
