Pat Cummins remains on top in bowlers' rankings, Bumrah occupies sixth position

He achieved this in the first week of December, overtaking Australian batsman Steve Smith. Virat has 928 points. They are 17 points ahead of Smith. New Zealand captain Kane Williamson is third with 864 points. Indian batsmen are at three of the top ten spots in this ranking released on Tuesday. Cheteshwar Pujara is fourth and Ajinkya Rahane is in seventh place with a loss of one place. Mayank Agarwal is at 12th and Rohit Sharma at 15th position.
Pakistani batsman Babar Azam achieved career-best rankings. They are in sixth place. He gained three places to score a century in the Karachi Test against Sri Lanka. Australia's Marnus Labushane is fifth. Australia's David Warner is at eighth, England's Joe Root at ninth and New Zealand's Ross Taylor at tenth.

No change in the bowlers' starting 15 places
Australia's Pat Cummins continues to hold the first place in the bowlers' Test rankings. In second place is Kagiso Rabada of South Africa and Neil Wegner of New Zealand in third. 5 Indians are among the top 20 bowlers. Jaspreet Bumrah is sixth, Ravichandran Ashwin 11th, Mohammed Shami 12th, Ravindra Jadeja 17th and Ishant Sharma 18th.
