Dhoni scored James Neesham in the 36.2 overs of the match. After sweeping Kidar Jadhav's spin ball, Neesham wanted to take a run. They proceeded further from the crease and then started to return to the crease to survive, but Dhoni's agility did not succeed. For hosts New Zealand, Neesham scored 44 runs with 32 balls.
