Hussamuddin, who won bronze medal in Commonwealth Games last year, had to satisfy Rajat. In the 56kg final, he lost to Russia's Mohammed Shekhov 1-4.
At the same time, Arjuna award winner Mandeep Jangada lost in the 69 kg weight category semi-finals. He was beaten by Russia's Vadim Musaev 5-0. He got a bronze medal.
Sanjit defeated New Zealand's David Nica in the 91kg category semi-finals. In the semifinal of 64kg, India's Ankit Khatana suffered 2-3 against the Damien Durkas of Poland.
