The Australian team, led by Aaron Finch, will visit India next month and will play a three-match ODI series with the hosts.
Giving information about the change in the team, the selection committee convenor Trevor Hohns said, "It was very unfortunate for Sean, as he is part of the team's plans for the ICC T20 World Cup and World Cup." Regarding Darcy's involvement, he said, "With the arrival of Darcy, the team has got another spin all-rounder. The team already has four world class fast bowlers, due to which the team has become quite balanced. Darcy's previous record and his ability to bat anywhere is a big asset for the team.
