The maximum 11 players have been kept in Grade-A. This includes wicketkeepers Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane. Apart from Rishabh Pant in the younger players, leg-spinner Kuldeep Yadav also got a place in grade A. Kuldeep was last kept in Grade-B.

– Murali Vijay, who has been completely out of form on the tour of England and injury to long time Suresh Raina, has not been included in the contract this time.
