The 16-year-old Bhatia's urine sample was taken during the Fenesta Open National Tennis Championship in October last year. Nada had collected samples from tennis players for the first time during the championship.

Runika Monica Chowdhury banned for four years

Apart from Bhatia, Nada has also banned seven other players. These include Sandeep Kaur (powerlifting), Ankit Gosai (handball), Jitu Thomas (volleyball), Yayifaba (Canoeing), Vishan Singh (Kayaking and Canoeing) and Shivam Kasana (Cycling).

For the runner-up Monika Chowdhary Trial, the Delhi High Court had gone before last year's Asian Games. Nada was found to be positive in erythropoietin in the investigation. For this anti-doping peptliner panel has banned Monica for four years.

With Monica, hockey player Bharat Singh and Hammer Thrower Ganjan Singh were banned for four years. On the other hand, Deca-athlete Jagtar Singh has reduced the ban of four in 2017 to the anti-doping peptlinary panel for two years.
