On this occasion, many sports personalities also paid tribute to the brave soldiers of the country. Apart from Sports Minister Kiran Rijiju, former cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Gautam Gambhir and Suresh Raina also sent messages on Army Day in honor of military personnel through social media. It is celebrated every year on 15 January.
